Tom brings a strong analytical and research-driven approach to his role as Compliance Analyst. With a background in Classical Studies from the University of Bristol, he developed a deep understanding of historical analysis, critical thinking and structured argumentation, skills that now help him ensure accuracy and compliance in R&D tax claims.

Before joining Kene, Tom worked as a Caseworker and Researcher in Parliament, where he engaged with senior politicians and stakeholders, helping to shape policy decisions and navigate complex legislative processes. His experience in handling high-level discussions and research translates well into ensuring that tax claims are structured to align with HMRC’s evolving requirements.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing and watching sports, reading history and travelling. A unique skill of his? He can read Ancient Greek – a nod to his classical studies background!
