As Chief of Staff, Catalina plays a key role in driving strategic growth, operational efficiency and talent development. She works closely with the CEO and executive team to implement high-impact initiatives that align with the company’s long-term vision, ensuring sustainable business growth and diversification. She also oversees the Grants Department, leading pre- and post-award teams to help businesses access crucial funding opportunities.

A Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), Catalina holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting. Before joining Kene, she gained experience as Assistant Manager at Deloitte and later as Chief of Staff at K.Labs Group. She is particularly proud of leading maternity cover for K.Labs Group’s CFO, where she built a comprehensive financial model to forecast cash flows and business performance. Additionally, she spearheaded the launch of our Talent Development Programme, which has enhanced professional growth across the business.

Beyond work, Catalina is a foodie and fitness enthusiast. She loves cooking, exploring London’s diverse food scene, and staying active with yoga, Pilates, swimming and running. Originally born in Berlin and raised in South Africa, she now enjoys life in London, balancing a love for travel, reading and outdoor adventures.
