Tom oversees Kene’s financial operations, including reporting, compliance, cash flow management, payroll, budgeting and financial planning. His meticulous approach ensures that the company’s finances remain structured and well-optimised. He also provides financial analysis and modelling to support key business initiatives, ensuring the leadership team has the insights needed to drive growth.

A Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, Tom previously worked as a Management Accountant in an outsourcing practice, helping SMEs scale their financial operations. He also spent 20 years in operational leadership and finance business partnering roles at the John Lewis Partnership, where he successfully led financial forecasting for 20 Central London Waitrose branches, achieving a £27 million annual net profit.

Outside of work, Tom is a dedicated cyclist and runner, currently training for his first marathon. He enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, as well as taking long walks with their Cockapoo, Betsy. A fun fact? He can complete a Rubik’s Cube in under 90 seconds.
